Vaisala offers accurate online oil measurement

The Humicap MMT330 moisture and temperature transmitter series facilitates fast, reliable and accurate online oil measurement. It reveals how close the oil is to its saturation point, i.e. the formation of free water. Oil-specific calibration isn't necessary, as water activity is unaffected by the oil's type or age. A ball valve set allows installation and removal of the probe for calibration without draining the oil system. The unit can be ordered with a large numerical and graphical display and multilingual menu. The operating pressure ranges to 250 bars. Data logging and downloading to a PC allow monitoring measurement trends covering one year of historical data.
