Gore & Associates, Inc. introduces the GFO fiber for pump packing. The composite material is designed and engineered specifically for use in compression packing. GFO fiber packing applications include sealing shafts on high-speed pumps, mixers, agitators or any other equipment with rotating or reciprocating shafts. Because of its durability and long life, GFO fiber packing is consistently high performing. It doesn't get hard or brittle, thereby minimizing shaft wear. Its lubricity and high thermal conductivity keeps it running cool, even after extended periods of continuous use. Gore has certified a select group of packing braiders to provide the GFO fiber packing.
