Evapo-Rust from Daubert Cromwell is a water-based rust remover that works as a safe, environmentally friendly solution for a common problem in the metals industries.

Evapo-Rust is a soak solution that eliminates flash rust in as little as 10 minutes, and deep rust in hours. It replaces current rust-removal methods of brushing, scraping and blasting. With a virtually neutral pH, it effectively eliminates the need to use acids and dangerous caustics. Using Evapo-Rust requires no special equipment or protective clothing. It is reusable and in most cases, it is sewerable.

One gallon will remove rust from up to 300 pounds, or approximately 20 square feet, of moderately rusted steel. It will not harm copper, brass, aluminum, plastic, rubber or vinyl. It will not remove non-oxide coatings, such as point or chrome, that are still bonded to the surface of the metal.
