Mettler-Toledo Ingold's Advanced Line transmitter series has been enhanced with the addition of Foundation Fieldbus (FF) communication capability to “x100e FF” instruments for measuring pH, Redox (ORP), DO, and Conductivity. The Foundation Fieldbus interface offers the benefits of digital communication and FF technology, such as remote set up and configuration of the transmitter conveniently from a control room or performing product calibration via the fieldbus.

Designed to provide high accuracy, reliability and safety, the “x100e FF” series is intrinsically safe for operation in hazardous areas and is in accordance with the FISCO (Fieldbus Intrinsically Safe Concept) model. The FF installations run the complete spectrum of industrial applications including Chemical, Petrochemical, Pulp and Paper, Pharmaceutical, and Food and Beverage industries.

The launch of the “x100e FF” transmitters completes Mettler-Toledo Ingold's “Advanced Line” Transmitters series offering 2-wire, 4-wire, HART, PROFIBUS PA and now Foundation Fieldbus instruments.
