Mokon pressure temperature control system promises to increase efficiency
Mokon's Duratherm NPS negative pressure temperature control system temporarily fixes cooling circuit leaks to allow production to continue through the end of the run, reducing repair delays and increasing efficiency. Its compact design incorporates a venturi jet pump and reservoir to accurately control temperatures up to 180 degrees by pulling rather than pushing water through the process. The versatile Duratherm NPS has the ability to provide positive pressure (when no leaks are present) or negative pressure (to stop a leak).“Even a minor cooling circuit leak from stress cracks or bad O-rings can stop operations,” explains Tom Valentine, vice president of sales and marketing for Mokon. “The Duratherm NPS allows production to be finished without the nuisance of a leak or the costly interruption of a repair.”
The Duratherm NPS offers the most energy efficient means of heating and controlling process fluid temperatures by using Mokon's unique heating design and advanced microprocessor controls. A three-way flow control valve adjusts systems from positive pressure to negative pressure. Easy access to internal components expedites maintenance, while standard hose and pipe connections simplify changeover.
The system meets NFPA 79 (National Fire Protection Association) electrical safety standards. Motor, heater and transformer fusings as well as wiring practices ensure operator safety.
