Garlock Klozure Dynamic Seals proudly introduces the new MICRO-TEC® II high-performance bearing isolator with microcellular filter technology—unparalleled bearing protection for the most difficult applications.

The new MICRO-TEC® II bearing isolator from Garlock Klozure not only provides the traditional protection you would expect from a labyrinth seal, but also has an additional layer of defense via a unique microcellular filter located on the outboard side of the isolator.

This unique microcellular filter prevents bearing damage by trapping airborne particulates and ensures contaminants stay on the outside—where they belong.

And, unlike other isolators that use simple o-rings, the MICRO-TEC® II has a patented, PTFE unitizing ring that acts as both a secondary barrier and is specifically engineered to maintain spacing between internal components so no metal-to-metal contact occurs during operation.

The MICRO-TEC® II also has a patented cam-lock technology that allows installation by hand with no tools required. Simply press the isolator in and let the cam-lock do the rest. Specially machined o-ring mounting surfaces allow the o-rings to exert increasing pressure as the seal is pulled away from the housing, providing a snug fit under any condition.
