HydroTherm offers high-efficiency boiler

HydroTherm announces its newest product offering - the gas-fired, self-modulating GX Series boiler with an efficiency rating of up to 92% AFUE.  The GX Series is a lightweight, ultra high efficiency, hot water residential boiler.  The boiler is equipped with HydroTherm's new state-of-the-art combustion system, the Sentry 2100.
 
A benefit of the GX Series electronic combustion system is its ability to adjust the amount of gas injected into the burner to ensure proper combustion throughout the full range of modulation.  The combustion system also compensates for extended venting therefore eliminating the need for adjustments between short and long vent runs.  Additionally, since the GX is a totally sealed system, all combustion air is drawn from the outside, used, and then expelled, eliminating the need for fresh air intake, thereby decreasing heating costs.
 
The Sentry 2100 operates the burner, heating pump and auxiliary indirect pump of the GX Series boiler and provides all safety and operational functions.  This new technology has a digital set-point for unmatched accuracy and an internal diagnostic system to continuously monitor for errors, making it extremely reliable.
 
In addition to these new features, the GX Series boiler is available in both Natural Gas and Propane versions, and has clearly marked components and wiring for easy service and maintenance.  The boiler is available in two sizes: the GX150 with a 30 psi rating, available as a non-ASME unit, and the ASME-rated GX200   with a 30 psi rating.  Both offer a patented 316L stainless condensing heat exchanger providing ultimate efficiencies.  The GX boilers can be wall or floor mounted, have conveniently located connections for easy installation, and can vent easily with conventional ABS, PVC or CPVC plastic piping.
