The most popular system in the Wilson line, the Wils-Away 500, is a kit that includes a drive unit, a shaft and casing, and a selection of brushes. Thomas C. Wilson's smart brush design accommodates tubes that vary in width from beginning to end. The centrifugal actuated expanding brush automatically adjusts to the inside diameter of the tube, cleaning the tube very effectively without damage. Brush options include steel, brass, nylon, and stainless steel for tubes from 3/8" to 1" (9.5mm to 25.4mm) O.D.

Dolly mounted, the Wils-Away 500 is easily transported to and from the location of maintenance. For additional operator convenience, an air-activated foot switch gives simultaneous control of motor direction (forward or reverse) and water.
