Caver-Morehead CMMS software offers program flexibility
FM1j Interprise levels the playing field for the users as a low-overhead, nothing to install on the workstation, browser-based solution accessed through the Internet, Intranet, or both. FM1j Interprise is designed to maximize program flexibility with the utility of your computer hardware by reducing traffic over your WAN or LAN. With the J2EE development of FM1j Interprise, it is available to thousands of users anytime and from anywhere, while all the time operating within your security framework and database rules. This program is designed to work with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
FM1j Interprise comes with all components. There are no add-on modules or units necessary to fully use the system from implementation.
FM1j Interprise has one of the most advanced security modules in the industry developed to meet both correction industry and government security requirements. Roles and rights control access to every feature within FM1j Interprise down to the field level.
FM1j Interprise uses the Internet to communicate between responsible parties. FM1j Interprise contains a fully integrated call request system that provides the ability to request maintenance using a website. E-mails can keep those involved in the work flow up to date on the progress of the request / workorder. The web page also allows each requester to periodically check the status of their request without the need for direct contact with the maintenance department personnel.
In FM1j Interprise , workorders are created for objects (equipment items, buildings, departments, locations, systems, etc.) such that no work is left un-captured. Server "listeners" create changes in workorders and schedules based on the rules established by the CMMS user. Full histories of all preventive and corrective work are readily available via Crystal Reports, including the ability to publish web-enabled reports on demand. Equipment warranties are tracked down to the component level with warnings that prevent lost value. Failure codes, including vandalism, are tracked on all workorders.
FM1j Interprise makes shop planning the easiest ever. Workorder assignment screens allow easy fine-tuning to balance a shop workload. The program contains an automated workload scheduler allowing you to determine and control your workflow according to your needs. It can provide a synopsis of all work within your facility as well as a synopsis for each shop in your facility. Workorder assignments to each employee are made or changed from one screen. The system actually looks ahead for a selected 12-month period to provide a recap of future scheduled maintenance. This recap facilitates easy modification thus allowing you to better allocate long-term resources and plan for scheduled maintenance demands throughout the year.
FM1j Interprise contains one of the most robust integration engines for a CMMS product. It integrates/ interfaces with a multitude of software products, including Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Geobase software and many legacy systems. This capability provides management with information vital for directing a complex organization.
FM1j Interprise provides the ability to procure inventory while seamlessly integrating/interfacing with company finance and personnel systems thus eliminating repetitive data entry and improving efficiency. Integrated contracts and blanket purchase agreements make purchasing a snap while making up to the minute information readily available to management and finance. The Inventory Module can track multiple stores at multiple sites with multiple locations for each part.
FM1j Interprise updates payroll records by using labor time directly form the workorder. Timesheets are signed and approved in the system without ever touching a piece of paper. This information is immediately available to Finance by using integrated accounts and budgets.
