Wonderware updates popular trending and analysis software
California-based Wonderware is announcing two major software releases for plant designers.
The first, ActiveFactory 9.0, updates Wonderware's popular trending and analysis software. The suite provides a set of real-time and historical plant analysis tools that integrate with Web-based industrial applications. Wonderware says its' software makes plants more competitive and profitable by providing a flexible toolkit for accessing, visualizing and analyzing plant performance information.
“Users can create detailed plant performance reports using Excel and Word, and then publish these reports to the Web for broad consumption by plant personnel,” the company says. “Report users can then modify Web-based reports in real time.”
The ActiveFactory software also integrates with Wonderware's other new release, version 2.5 of its SuiteVoyager package. That application provides Web-based analysis software for production and performance management.
“As a visualization tool, it enables users to integrate manufacturing and business systems and provides valuable information,” says Wonderware spokeswoman Renee Brandt. “That is needed to make dynamic changes to improve production efficiency and profitability.”
The new software makes it easier to incorporate historical information into plant performance reports. And Wonderware says access to genealogy reports makes complying with new government reporting requirements simpler.
