Ingersoll Rand celebrated three million hours worked without a lost time incident at the company’s Mocksville facility. More than 400 employees enjoyed a congratulatory meal and remarks from plant leadership commemorating the milestone.
Fostering a safety culture involves every employee. With the company’s behavior-based safety program, Ingersoll Rand employees are trained to take responsibility for eliminating employee incidents, hazards risks and injuries. During the past 18 months, more than 150 Mocksville employees acted as safety coaches, collaborating with individual teams to prevent unsafe acts and injuries and fortify safe work practices. Along with a rigorous commitment to environmental, health and safety, the behavior-based safety program contributed to Ingersoll Rand’s Mocksville operations safety milestone.
