American Welding Society launches Web site on building a metalworking career
PlantServices.com
The American Welding Society (AWS) has launched a new Web site in collaboration with the National Center for Welding Education and Training (Weld-Ed) on education within the welding industry.
According to AWS, the new site, www.CareersinWelding.com, is aimed at informing students, parents, educators, counsellors and professionals on all they need to know about the welding industry. It includes industry information, news, videos and profiles on welders and companies within the welding industry.
AWS says the new site acts as a welding career resource, not only assisting those heading into the industry with what they need to know, like pay and education, but also giving professionals a forum for networking.
