The Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL), a standards-developing group for reconditioning electrical gear with more than 50 corporate members, has added PEARL Link to its Web site, www.pearl1.org. With just one click, customers or sellers looking for hard-to-find electrical gear can send an RFQ to all of PEARL’s certified membership. Response e-mails come directly from each member company and will clearly specify the available options, from new equipment to surplus equipment and fully reconditioned used equipment.

Unlike similar features on general industry sites, customers can feel safe knowing that reconditioned electrical gear from PEARL-certified members has been fully tested, reconditioned and documented to work as good as or better than it did when it was first manufactured.
