Project-management course teaches participants effective leadership skills

PlantServices.com

The Life Cycle Institute is now accepting registrations for its newest course, Project Management. This course is designed for anyone leading a team or on a team who would find value in project management fundamentals, including project managers, project leaders, team leaders and team members.

In this three-day class, taught by a project-management professional, participants will learn a systematic approach to defining a project plan driven by project deliverables. A hierarchical approach is used to work through the definition of the deliverables, the work required to produce the deliverables, the skills and resources required, and the estimates for time and cost leading to the project budget and schedule. Individuals will also learn effective leadership skills for managing project teams.

The first course is scheduled to take place Sept. 1-3, 2009, at the Life Cycle Institute’s training facilities in Charleston, S.C. Class size is limited to maximize the value to each participant. For more information, see http://www.lce.com/Project_Management_172.html.
