Plant Services adds easy-to-use linking feature to Web articles
PlantServices.com
The staff of PlantServices.com has added a new functionality to its Web site that allows users to easily link to content on this site from other Web sites. The "Link to this article" feature appears at the end of all articles on the site, and it automatically generates easy-to-use HTML code for users to paste into their Web pages if they wish to share Plant Services' articles with other readers.
To use this feature, simply click on the article link you wish you share and scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the blue "Link to this article" box. Click on the box to view that article's code. Then, copy and paste the code onto your page like you would any other HTML code. The automatically generated code includes a link to the article, as well as the author's name and title, and the headline and subhead.
Plant Services' staff encourages you to link to and share your favorite maintenance- and asset-management-related articles. For answers to any further questions about this new feature, please e-mail Managing Editor Lisa Towers at ltowers@putman.net.
