The 16th Annual Automation Fair held November 14-15 attracted more than 13,000 attendees from 65 nations to McCormick Place in Chicago, according to Rockwell Automation, sponsor of the free, educational forum on manufacturing technology and one of the largest private trade fairs in the United States.
The event also included more than 100 solution and product exhibits, and featured more than 85 technical sessions, hands-on training labs and manufacturing industry presentations on key automation trends.
“Each year at the Automation Fair event, we have the opportunity to bring together customers and manufacturing professionals from around the globe,” says Keith Nosbusch, Rockwell Automation chairman and chief executive officer. “This premier industry event is an environment where manufacturers can bring their problems and walk away with solutions that will help them be more competitive in their businesses.”
The event showcased some of the latest automation and technology solutions available through Rockwell Automation and its partners — aimed to help manufacturers improve product time to market, increase profitability, develop asset management and optimization strategies, and manage business risks.
