SPL and RIVA Online to develop what-if capital planning

PlantServices.com

SPL WorldGroup, a leading provider of Enterprise Asset Management software, and RIVA Online, a provider of real-time infrastructure valuation analysis tools, announced the formation of a strategic partnership to integrate RIVA’s strategic long-range capital planning capabilities with the SPL Enterprise Asset & Work Management (EAM) solution.

The pre-integrated solution leverages the physical and financial status of assets captured in SPL’s EAM solution to build “best fit” budgets that support long-term infrastructure maintenance strategy options.  The integration enables RIVA to read and analyze asset data directly from SPL’s EAM application to develop “what if” capital planning scenarios.  From this, organizations can model infrastructure lifecycle costs to optimize an asset’s lifespan, schedule capital improvements, and proactively plan for infrastructure replacement.  RIVA easily converts the resultant data into the organization’s capital plan and capital project management system.  This plan then seamlessly flows back to SPL’s EAM solution for work execution, which the linked systems track through completion.
