Maintenance Evangelist goes to Washington

Plant Services Contributing Editor, Joel Leonard has been on a crusade to fight the maintenance crisis. For years he has battled ignorance and apathy on this critical issue facing US productivity. Much persistence and support from the industry is beginning to pay off and more are wanting to talk to him.

Next week, Joel Leonard is off to contribute at a Congressional Forum about Facilities and Maintenance Challenges. He would love to be armed with more real life stories of maintenance challenges—For example the difficulty of locating qualified maintenance pros, the status of chronic deferred maintenance backlogs, the challenges of supporting sophisticated new equipment while trying to patch up old equipment to produce optimal productivity levels to compete in a global marketplace.
