Let it slide

Leviton’s Industrial Products Division has updated its product selection slide rule with new listings for the company’s line of IEC 309-1 and 309-2 pin and sleeve and mechanical interlock devices.

The slide rule makes it easy for users to select Leviton industrial wiring devices by catalog number based on NEMA and ANSI configurations and voltage and amperage ratings. Users simply set the slide rule’s bar at the desired position, based on particular ratings criteria, and the appropriate product catalog number appears in the die-cut area to the right when the slide mechanism is pulled.

The two-sided, corrugated slide rule is categorized by locking devices on one side. Flip it over and ratings and catalog numbers for straight-blade, pin and sleeve, and mechanical interlock devices appear on the other side. Users can easily select products from Leviton’s line of plugs, connectors, angle plugs, flanged inlets and outlets, single, duplex and isolated ground receptacles, and North American-rated pin and sleeve and mechanical interlock devices.

The slide rule also contains listings for non-NEMA and California-style devices. Wetguard and Dustguard products are identified in gold lettering and hospital-grade devices in green. Canadian specification information for NEMA L24-20 devices is also referenced.
