Cyberex receives Technology Leadership Award

Cyberex has received the 2004 Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Leadership in the low-voltage digital static transfer switch (DSTS) market. This award recognizes excellence in technological innovation, outstanding performance and achievements in the field of industrial technologies.
In 1971, the company introduced its first stand-alone static transfer switch; in 1994 it launched the first digital static transfer switch.

The Technology Leadership Award commends the company's development of its patented SuperSwitch technology, which monitors incoming power and performs seamless transfers (under 4 milliseconds) between two AC power sources.
Earlier this month, the company released its third generation of SuperSwitch technology. The SuperSwitch 3 increases the mean time between downing events by three times -- to 10 million hours -- which is seven times longer than comparable products, and has raised the standard in reliable power continuity. The SuperSwitch 3includes an expanded diagnostic event log; enhanced graphical user interface and communications; guided breaker bypass operation; and reduced maintenance time and footprint.
