Energy-savings tool comes with catalog

You can calculate an existing motor’s annual electricity usage based on its nominal efficiency versus the annual electricity usage of a premium efficiency motor using the BE$T energy-savings tool. This program comes with version 9.0 of the interactive electronic catalog on CD-ROM from Baldor Electric, Fort Smith, Ark. The program is also able to calculate savings on a group of motors when they are changed to Baldor motors.

In addition, BE$T can calculate energy savings when a variable-speed drive is used. The electronic catalog enables users to access technical information on more than 6,500 Baldor motors, drives and generators. Product information includes nameplate data, dimension drawings, performance and test data, replacement parts and accessories. An interactive search function allows users to find products easily.
