Gatekeeper for the U.S. economy

The Support America program was developed to recognize the efforts of companies that are creating jobs for Americans in America. FabEnCo will offer a 10% discount off the price of any model in its safety gate product line to those companies that have FabEnCo safety gates shipped direct to projects within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The company has also committed to absorb the surcharge on the rising cost of raw steel -- an action that will benefit all of its customers worldwide.

"I was part of a 200-member delegation representing the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) that traveled to Washington, D.C., to meet with Congress to convey how vitally important a strong manufacturing base is to the long-term economic security of our nation," says David LaCook, CEO of FabEnCo. "American manufacturers must work together to prevent the further erosion of job opportunities available to American workers. At FabEnCo, we believe it's important to set an example and we hope that others will follow with their own unique programs."

LaCook says the program will impact the company's income (it's employee-owned), But we believe it's the right thing to do and will strengthen our industry and our economy, he says.
