Ron Marshall, CET, CEM, industrial systems officer at Manitoba Hydro and project development and marketing committee of Compressed Air Challenge

Ron Marshall CET, CEM, is a 35-year employee with Manitoba Hydro, the crown-owned electricity and gas utility in Manitoba, Canada. He is a certified engineering technologist and has received certification as an energy manager, demand side management and measurement and verification professional through the Association of Energy Engineers. Marshall is also the first Canadian participant to qualify as a DOE AIRMaster+ specialist. He has worked in the industrial compressed air field for 17 years as an industrial systems officer for Manitoba Hydro’s Customer Engineering Services Department. Marshall is Manitoba Hydro’s industrial compressed air systems expert, and his efforts support the utility’s Power Smart Performance Optimization program, a utility incentive program that supports industrial customer energy audits and electrical and gas efficiency projects. He also chairs a Canadian Standards Association committee currently developing a compressed air system efficiency measurement standard. Marshall is heavily involved in the Compressed Air Challenge as a member of the project Development and Marketing committees.
