STEM isn’t just for nerds and geeks anymore, as those fields of study used to be categorized. STEM careers have become cool, fun and exciting new jobs for millions of people around the world. With STEM expanding in research and studies in other countries, though, comes the need for the U.S. to keep up. Like Damon Jones explains in the video, if we don’t start taking STEM more seriously in education, the U.S. will become seriously underdeveloped in STEM, leading to extremely negative outcomes.
