STEM education is the foundation of our future

STEM careers involve the basics of science, technology, engineering and math.

This article by the New York Times begs the question, "Who says math has to be boring?" High school students claim they aren't as interested in STEM careers as they are in business and psychology, but why are these two career choices more appealing than STEM occupations? STEM careers have higher salaries and are the foundation for the future of our society. We need to get our children more interested in STEM careers in order to keep our future alive.
