STEM Education Act passed enabling STEM funding

A bill enabling STEM education funding was passed July 15 unanimously in the House of Representatives. 

United States Representative Elizabeth Esty and chairman of the U.S. House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Lamar Smith introduced the bill. The government will be funding grants and programs for STEM education outside of the classroom.
