Obama hosts the first White House Maker Faire to encourage innovation

Obama's year of action includes the first White House Maker Faire which invites students and entrepreneurs from all over the country to share their inventions and ideas in the STEM fields.

The White House Maker Faire meets with students, entrepreneurs and regular citizens who are putting the nose to the grind and learning new tools and techniques in order to launch businesses and become fluent in the language of STEM.

President Barack Obama is hosting the first Maker Faire as part of his year of action in an attempt to expand spurring manufacturing, innovation and entrepreneurship.
