A history of female STEM workers’ significant moments

Women may be behind in the STEM workplace, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t already contributed significantly to society.

While women have been on the back burner when it comes to STEM careers for a while now, that doesn’t mean that they have never contributed anything to society. As this infographic shows, there are a medley of strong female STEM workers that have made their contribution to STEM fields. But all this isn’t to say that changes don’t still need to be made. As the infographic says, there is a significant wage gap between males and females that needs to be compromised. When that happens, hopefully the world will recognise the importance and significant contributions that women have and will continue to make to all careers, but especially STEM careers.
