The London 2012 Olympics have been called the greenest Olympics in modern history. But can this sustainable mindset be attributed solely to London’s Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), or does Europe just have a more sustainable culture? While attitudes vary from country to country, Europens tend to have a stronger work-life balance, a greater regard for the environment, and manufacturing practices that routinely take into account the entire product lifecycle, from design through disposal.
